Denise Griffith, 66, went to be with our Lord on Monday Jan. 23rd, 2012. Denise was born in California but lived the majority of her life in Walsenburg.
Denise will be sadly missed by her son Jason Cicero and her daughter Danielle Krupp, along with her three sisters; Julia Intravartolo, Joyce Boecher and Barbara Ellsworth, and deeply missed by her two grandchildren; Aubree and Ryan Krupp and niece Julie Bayci.

Ronald E. Olson, my wonderful brother, passed away on December 10, 2011, at the Colorado Veterans Home in Walsenburg, CO at the age of 79.
He had resided there since September 2010. He loved it there and loved everyone who took such good care of him too.

Lorraine Mall Haslee, who will be remembered by all whose lives she touched through her strength, benevolence, positive outlook and perseverance, died peacefully in her Minturn home Nov. 30 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was 57.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 in the Vail Mountain School auditorium.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bessie Houghton; sister, Marie Varney; brothers, John and Fred Houghton; and grandson, Jimmy Houghton.

She lived her early years in Fort Collins, CO, where she attended Rocky Mountain High School.
Nicki was preceded in death by her brother, Glen and her grandparents.

Armanda Salazar, 73, of Walsenburg, CO passed away on December 10, 2011 of a sudden illness.
She was born September 26, 1939 in Gardner, CO.
Armanda was a life long member of the St. Mary’s Church in Walsenburg. She spent most of her time in Walsenburg helping out her family.
Armanda is preceded in death by her father Alfredo Salazar, her mother Maria Gomez-Salazar, brothers James Salazar and Joe Salazar and one sister, Rose Salazar.
